Volunteer Opportunity with Second Harvest Heartland

Greetings from the Volunteer Department at Second Harvest Heartland.

If you hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, and are available to volunteer once or twice a week during daytime hours for 4-8 hours, then please read on!

We are looking for one or two volunteer drivers to assist us with the pick-up of donated foods from a variety of sources, such as restaurants, farmers’ markets, food drives, and grocery stores. You would be driving one of our small straight trucks.

Skills Required:

- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (with air brakes)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Friendly, helpful demeanor, and good customer service skills

Selfless Opportunities, LLC shall not be liable to Member or any third party should Selfless Opportunities, LLC exercise its right to modify or discontinue the Service. Member acknowledges and accepts that Selfless Opportunities, LLC does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to our website and operation of our website may be interfered with or adversely affected by numerous factors or circumstances outside of our control.
